One appears to be a paramecia? Able to wrap people in thorns and maintain it over great distances.

The other is a mythical zoan that can make dreams a reality? That sounds like it has the potential to be much more powerful. However, it seems like there are no calories or nutrition when it was used to produce food.

So this power may be more like illusion magic, it also may be affected by the users imagination, if the user cannot imagine it, they may not be able to create it, so if for example the user tried to create chains that would tie up Loki or some type of box to contain Luffy, it may end up being ineffective because the user simply can't imagine that such a thing is possible. I'm sure there will be some clever use of it, but its drawbacks are apparent.

Lastly, we finally discover that Loki likely did not just kill his father out of malice. At this point its safe to say that none of us expected that to be the case. Especially after observing the "crime scene" at the castle.

It looks like we might be in for a few flashback chapters involving a young Loki and Harudin or at least maybe a flashback which shows the true story of what happened with Loki and the king.

This chapter was fun BUT I can't be the only one that is tired of seeing Luffy getting whooped then just defaulting to his awakened form.

I know Gaban just wanted to see what Nika looked like and may have been curious to see if Luffy would be capable of handling Loki if he was freed but man the next Pirate King has to be a little tougher than this.

I was also hoping for a little more of a lore drop.

Instead we got a massive lore tease that is probably gonna take another year to get to.

Meanwhile the so called holy knights dropped a massive hint that the people in Mary Geoise are going through some hard times since the flame emperor Sabo dropped by 🙂

I'm curious to know what's happening.

And it feels like its about time that we get to see Monkey D. Dragon in action.

It seems like we've finally met Roger's top two fighters.

Funny how Gaban was getting some Roger vibes from Luffy and Zoro.

He is supposedly really powerful now so at some point he needs to be able to hold his own, without basically losing like 4 or 5 times before he starts to win.

It seems like Luffy is destined to fight these holy knights pretty soon. He needs to show them who's boss.

Now the one that looks like Shanks might slow him down at first but I would like to see him really go at him. I also wonder if Shanks will show up and face off against him personally.

Also HOW ABOUT THAT MURAL!

There is a lot to unpack there but definitely some cool images for the fans to try and piece together.

Seems like there have been different accounts of Nika throughout the years.

From the mural, it seems to suggest that the Nika fruit was at some point a higher being? That man killed and turned into a fruit? And that the sea god was in love with Nika and mad at mankind for this? The sea god is definitely Imu. The current question is, the current Imu an actual god or a human that has absorbed the sea god somehow?

Seems like Imu has been alive for a long time.

Perhaps all the fruits were higher beings at some point and were transformed.

Plus how does nobody not know that Loki is down there getting beat. Supposedly he would be making a lot of noise. Also why doesn't he have any guards? Could his eye power allow him to alter their perception of the world somehow? Like Aizen in Bleach?

My biggest thoughts from this chapter were who are those two hooded figures and does Loki's devil fruit have something to do with feeding on rage?

With many of us knowing norse mythology it seems easy to come to the conclusion that Loki has some sort of occular power. The hint is strong since Loki's eye's are wrapped.

Perhaps the moment he's able to see he can use his eyes to manipulate the world somehow?

But now I'm wonder if his last comments in this chapter were hinting at some sort of ability to feed on pain or suffering or rage or emotion to power himself up.

It would also give credibility to theories that suggest that Zoro is hiding some kind of eye power as well, by always keeping his left eye closed. Surely that just isn't just a scar and his eye is lost forever!

• Saint Jaygarcia Saturn didn't like the fact that somehow Luffy got his hands on some food.
• Distorted future still has some latent abilities, it seems like it depends on the users knowledge for example its hinted that Bonney may not be able to use the full extent of Luffy's Nika fruit because she hasn't made the connection between Nika and Luffy's awakened form.
• Saint Jaygarcia said he performed an experiment on Bonney's mother and Bonney inherited the disease from her.
• Kuma is overriding his control chip, did Dr. Vegapunk do something slick when he finished the operation?
• It seems like this is how the Strawhats escape Kuma is going to punt Saint Jaygarcia so faraway he won't be able to interfere.
• Last but not least it seems like Kizaru and Luffy ended up in a tie.
